Tania Spelman is an experienced Director of Nursing, with over 20 years’ experience in Care of the Older Person. Tania has worked with many of the largest Nursing Home providers in Ireland and brings to Bartra Healthcare her expertise in launching, and managing, large residential homes. Tania has worked with, trained and developed Nurse and Healthcare Assistant teams that have provided excellent standards of care. She has a wealth of knowledge in areas such as Dementia, Palliative Care and Frailty.

Tania has an in-depth knowledge of the Regulatory Standards and has worked with the Health Information and Quality Authority to ensure that the Nursing Home both, met, and exceeded their care standards. Tania is a Registered Designated Officer for Bartra Healthcare in the Protection of Vulnerable adults.
